Almost 2 years back, we had the chance to capture the bride sister’s wedding (Bogis & Muhaindra). We continued as good friends and now capturing her wedding is like watching our close relative getting hitched.
Thanks for both your parents and both family members for their kindness and co-operation, especially during the wedding ceremony in Shah Alam, Selangor. Without any interruption, it gave us such a warm feeling of happiness capturing a wide range of emotions and reactions from everybody on your wonderful day.

Lin-Hu & Pamela @ Equatorial Hotel
From over 5000 kilometers apart, fate has brought this lovely couple together:
Lin Hu and Pamela both grew up in Penang. Lin Hu is the only son in a family of three siblings. Pamela is the only daughter to her father and also the great grand daughter of one of Penang’s famous philanthropist. (Wedding for her mother’s side was celebrated separately, one week before).
After their high school days, Lin Hu went to study and worked as a chartered accountant in Australia and Pamela went to the UK to study and then worked as a pharmacist in Sabah.
It was two years ago when both came back to Penang to attend their best friend’s (Kheng Lian) wedding at Rasa Sayang Shangri-la. “Things happen when you least expect”. It was love at first sight for Lin Hu. He would never have thought that sitting across from him was the woman he had been searching for all this while.
At the after dinner party, Lin Hu gathered all his courage and surprised Pamela with a bouquet of flowers “from the bride” among their circle of friends and soon their journey began.
Since then they have never been apart whether it is through facetime or visiting each other. It was soon that both returned to Malaysia to live, tie the knot and build their future together. For Pamela, Lin Hu is her strength and for Lin Hu, Pamela is his soul mate and she makes his life complete.
The day of their wedding began at the bride’s house where many of the enthusiastic bridesmaids flew in from different places and came together to prepare a series of fun-filled challenging games for the macho groomsmen. It started with getting well wishes from neighbours and ended with project runway ballerina poses. The groom then declared a special moment to his bride in a ‘Romeo & Juliet’ setting.
The couple then had their traditional tea ceremony with family members at the bride’s house then the groom’s house. The tea ceremony signifies their acceptance by each other’s families.
Soon it was time for the bride to toss the bridal bouquet and it was caught by one of her gorgeous bridesmaids, Shir Ley. Colourful helium balloons were then released that filled the skies and were so breathtakingly beautiful!
The evening began with the couple exchanging their vows at the arch at the cocktails and the rest of the night was filled with classical love songs and touching, well polished speeches from the groom and both dad’s and the most unique, sensational speech and slide/video presentation from their best friend, Kheng Lian who flew all the way back from Adelaide for their wedding that almost had the couple in tears. To top it all, the groom surprised his bride with a video presentation he had made from the first day they met. The night was so magical!
The couple and their family toast with their six hundred family and friends, some of whom have travelled from Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and around Malaysia to share in this special occasion.
It was enjoyable working with this couple as they both were pleasant, fun and easy to work with.

Their love story started long before Suresh and she ever actually met. when you think about LOVE,most love stories start that way. every moment leading up to the one in which you meet your future husbund somehow shapes you and prepares you for that person you were fated for. any previous heartbreaks or dark days or lonely nights can be crucially important in the grand scheme of things.sometimes we need to know what something feels like when it’s wrong before we can ever really know it when another thing is right.
Here comes, 10 years fairy tale of both Mega& Suresh at Klang tuition centre staircase…..where Mega met Suresh for the first time as a student from different school. Mega was express her experience by saying” get to know him introduced by her childhood friend”.she say it was a unpleasant meet up for them and …until now she dont know what makes her attract by him and how she fall in love with him.somehow,they become friends. On her birthday, she proposed to him that she has crush on him and she in love with him… heartbreaks,when he was rejected her pure love….months past by,and its takes 6 months;they lost contact.somehow suresh felt her pure love and sincerity, so he got it her love back miracally…..
Years flew by with lot of love,laugh,tears, quarelling, arguements…..finally come up with their bigday to tie the knot.the wedding took place at one of the biggest and beautiful temple in Sri Maha Maariamman Temple, at Shah Alam and followed by reception at Midlands Convention Centre, Shah Alam.
Mega designed her event by her own and it was her dream as well.dream comes true finally……..

It was double celebration on Sunday for couple Puspa Rajah Palasingam & Uma Devi Vathumalai as they choose to make Merdeka Day their wedding day. The newlyweds, who had met more than 5 years ago, got married on the special day at Red Crescent Hall , Jalan Kompleks Sukan, Ipoh, Perak. A place that surrounded by beautiful limestone outcrops with wonderful cave temples.
Rajah was elated to be married to the love of his life on Aug 31 which is a special day for Malaysian. “We wanted to solemnize our union on a special day. So Aug 31 was chosen as it also symbolises unity for Malaysians,” he said.

A little bit about our lovely couple :-
“Our journey of love starts 5 years ago. We both met on the social networking site. Firstly we just known each other as friend , but something strange happen in our life where we realize we always keep connecting on Facebook. We stay up all night talking about family, our likes, dislikes, dream, life partner etc. The things that we share always impressed us when we realize we got the same of view and opinions. After known each other almost 1 month, we decided to take our cyber friendship into the real world. And there our journey of life starts.
The happiest day in a girl’s life is when she becomes a bride and marries the man of her dreams in the blissful presence of her family, friends and relatives…

Garden Wedding of Melvin & Irene
Melvin and Irene both grew up in Penang and lived 10 minutes away from one another. They share many of the same friends and had crossed paths as teenagers, but it wasn’t until they were both in Houston that they got to know one another. Melvin was just starting his career as an engineer and Irene graduate school to become a psychologist. Over time their friendship turned into a budding romance. Melvin thinks Irene adds sparkle to his life and Irene says Melvin is her rock. As a result, they say they make each other better people.
Fast forward five and a half years, Melvin and Irene celebrated their marriage in Park Royal Resort Penang.
It rained the week leading up to the wedding, but luckily the sun shone through the day of. Our celebrated couple had a tea ceremony with a Penang nyonya theme, followed by a garden wedding ceremony. The bride, Irene, has a naturally captivating smile and we can see see her excitement and happiness in getting married to Melvin. It is clear that the groom, Melvin, shares the same feelings as he looked dashing and smiled so confidently as he greeted his bride. They were surrounded by their lovely bridesmaids and smart-looking groomsmen as well as many family and friends. We later found out that many of them had traveled a distance
including from the USA, Dubai, Australia, Shanghai, Taiwan, Jakarta, Singapore, and KL. We loved capturing their wedding day as everyone was having a good time and there were many smiles and lots of laughter. In the evening, the couple performed their first dance which had elements of a Viennese waltz — it was exhilarating to watch and the guests enjoyed it as much as the couple did. Afterward, their guests joined them on the dance floor and kept the party going (look out for the dance train and cupid shuffle!).
Although it was a rushed day for us as videographers because the events were held back-to-back, we felt happy being able to capture their joyous celebration. We had a great time filming this beautiful couple and feel
privileged that they trust Digimax to document their day. Melvin and Irene had found us online while they were in Houston and told us how excited they were about our work. After a Skype chat and some email, we were settled on the details. Melvin and Irene have the following words for us:

As we did the wedding planning on our own, many of the questions you had asked and the tips you gave in preparation for our day were very helpful. Eric Paxton Cung + Kristina Antonette Mariswamy Church Wedding Video Highlight – Ozarks Love Story
(A first time experience: The bride, who studied journalism and video editing, gave us a script with exact details of specific shots to take and how she wanted this video edited!)
Kristina Mariswamy is from Penang, Malaysia while the groom, Eric Ecung comes from Houston, Texas. The couple met while pursuing their degrees at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas back in 2008.
The first item on the agenda for the day was the Church Service, held at the St. Anne’s Church in Bukit Mertajam, Penang
While getting ready, the bride, Kristina, shared with us how the reason she chose to get married at the St. Anne’s Church despite living in Kuala Lumpur was because her great-grandparents tied the knot in the same church close to 100 years ago! This was also the same church Kristina was baptised, received holy communion and was confirmed at. The church, she said, is where she grew up, and to her, will always be home.
After the beautiful service, there was a lunch reception at the St. Anne’s Hall across the street where everyone celebrated the newlyweds. It was a colourful sight indeed, with so much laughter and tears (Of happiness, of course!).
Later at night, a smaller dinner party was held with close family and friends at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel in Georgetown, Penang. After the long day, the dinner was a very relaxed occasion, and everyone present had fun taking pictures at the photo booth or raiding the “candy bar” set aside for kids with favourite candy from both the U.S. and Malaysia.
Once all the food was served, no one wasted any time to get on the dance floor, and it is the first time we have seen an occasion where the so many people stayed on the dance floor for all the songs throughout the night! Everyone definitely had a great time!
If there was one word to describe this wedding, it would be BEAUTIFUL. We especially loved filming this wedding because you could feel the joy and love that radiated from everyone present. The church, lunch and dinner was full of family and friends, all who came from all over the world for the couple’s special day. So much love, and so much blessings, this couple truly could not ask for more.

Our groom, a successful businessman from Shah Alam, Both of them had a natural smiling face, were kind hearted and had a friendly personality . We are so happy for them and this is definitely a wonderful match !
The hindu wedding ceremony was filmed at Sri Subramaniar Temple, Batu Tiga, Shah Alam, Selangor . They then celebrated their elegant reception at Pearl International Hotel , Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur. To us, It was the 1st Indian wedding reception that we filmed in Pearl International Hotel,KL. A special wine corner and cocktail party was served for all their visiting guests.
The decoration was of grand standard and of course the food was fabulous, the serving was just non-stopping. Family members, relatives and closest friends, flew in from all over the place to attend their wedding in this comfortable ballroom to bless both of them.
The graceful Bhangra dancers ushered the bride and groom with symbolic dance routines blessing them as they made their way to the stage. The entire night was filled with love, joy and fun. It is absolutely fantastic ! It was a heart touching occasion with many laughter, excitement and wonderful dancing performance by bride’s sisters.
it’s great – sound system and lighting effect….and great to have Mr.Anandha (THR Raaga) as their MC, lots of fun games and dance performance organised by him. The MC had brought a lot of fun to the newly-wed couple and the full house.
It was indeed a fun wedding to film, as we were filming alongside with the following co-work from Moooks photography, make-up artist by Lavanyaa Globe Beauty Academy (Raathiga Rani, Mrs.Selvarani Peruma) , one of the make-up artist we love much and very co-operation during our filming session.
Overall we enjoyed the wedding day and the wedding reception day to the max, miss all those moments very much. Kept everyone talking about it every now and then.
