While it had been a long and tiring journey for us to be at the wedding location, a trip that spanned from Penang to Johor that lasted 10 hours, we were treated to a magnificent wedding that took place at the Amansari Residence Resort – Official Ballroom, Johor with the decor planned and laid out beautifully by one of the best in the business which is Moxsha deco. Many thanks to the wedding planner who had painstakingly helped to setup the stage as per the malayali rituals as well as to the dhol drumers from the dhol riders who had glamarously ushered the bride and had awed everyone with their performance.
And utmost appreciation to the dancers, who are the bride’s best friends from work, had made the wedding more enjoyable and memorable… marking an unforgettable beautiful malayali wedding.

Imagine finding luminous black and white footage of a couple and the attorneys at the heart of our friendship and that turn to be a love story of us which had been stashed away in a closet. It happened to us! YES. And then we uncovered a treasure trove of rare and incredible love story we created. We are so fortunate to have this never-before-seen imagery – it is the heartbeat of our film, that one day when I was walking along a street alone after work , I thought of him and took one step forward to meet him and tell let’s get married, he was blushed away, surprised, speechless and than we just said good bye to each other.
And yes, at 12 mid the same day toward the next day, he called me and said Yes .I was like what…so fast the answer was given and he just remained that YES, and than with me telling my family and he telling his family and both bundle of joy family AGREED,YAHOO..Thanks to both of our family who was there also to understand and make our friendship role and build into a marriage life.
We started our Tamil version said ‘ DUM DUM DUM ‘ Hindi version said ‘ SHADI KA PROCESS ‘ Malay version, Langkah nikah & perkahwinan and the English version said ‘ MARRIAGE JOURNEY’ started to envelop THE BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY OF OUR JOURNEY and here we are as LEGALISED STRANGER-FRIEND-LOVE- HUSBAND & WIFE. THE END AND TO BE CONTINUED.
The reason why golden winter was the theme we choose is because winter is a lingering season, is a time to gather golden moments, embark on a sentimental and joyful journey and enjoy every idle hour with our family and guest who came to make the atmosphere of the wedding extraordinary. The wedding ceremony held at the Sri Maha Muthu Mariamman Temple , Padang Serai …is located in a little town tucked away in the southern part of Kedah in the Kulim district, a locality that is surrounded by oil palm plantations and is inhabited by monkeys which bear the main witness to their wedding.

We met this beautiful couple we filmed 7 years ago & we are very thankful to them. Their wedding highlights video impressed & attracted one of Europe's top TV channel - BBC UK. They included footage of this couple's wedding into their Asian Culture & Heritage Ritual Documentary. Their producer Bob loved the cultural & colourful rituals in our work & would welcome more future collaboration with us.
