Here’s a bit about their story ….
We’ve known each other since forever. We started off as rivals during our younger years to becoming the best of friends later on in life. It has been a long and beautiful journey knowing one another, sharing every joy and sorrow till one day we realized, we can’t live without each other. That moment on, we knew we were in love.
The rest is history.
We decided to have our R.O.M. on the 29th of December as it is a very significant date for both of us. Our anniversary. We had a small and simple ceremony with people closest to our hearts. We are very grateful to everyone who came to share our happiness with us. We will definitely cherish every single moment of the event for the rest of our lives.

First of all, we would like to thank Sylvester & Doreen who booked us all the way in Australia for their unique event.
Our Groom,Sylvester was born in Brunei and our lovely bride was born in BM, but grew up in Brunei.
Brunei Darussalam, meaning ‘The Abode of Peace’, is a country that many may know as an oil-rich sultanate on the third largest island in the world.
Sylvester & Doreen have an unforgettable beautiful wedding reception at Chin’s Stylish Chinese Cuisine in Church Street Pier, Penang. This was our first time filming in Church Street Pier. We had a great time in this restaurant. Its fine dining Chinese (Fusion) style. The interior was done up extravagantly as if we have travelled into a contemporary-victorian city.
The backdrop of this restaurant is a nice seaview, which is great for friends to gather together. Food is quite interesting and unique compared to usual chinese restaurant. All guests enjoyed the hunnan szechuan cuisine and the ambience. We realy love how the tables were set, each person gets his own uniquely decorated plate !
Lot of people often forget that Penang is, first and foremost a port. It still is a busy one. Port Swettenham on the north of the Weld Quay is now the berthing place for cruise ships as well as ferries to Sumatra and Langkawi. The newly renovated Church Street Pier is now a high end waterfront place of leisure where a century ago, it was the main pier for small boats to unload their cargo.
As the couple exchanged vows in a small civil wedding ceremony a couple of months earlier in Melbourne, they had the most simplest wedding of all here, …Just simple tea ceremony only, NO wedding planner and NO gate crashing.
Doreen told us they just want everyone to join in and have a relax environment to have their dinner. The celebration was joined by friends and family from all over the world including Taiwan, Singapore, China, Australia and Brunei.
Although it was a simple wedding but we managed to capture a lot couple’s natural emotions and a lot their closed relatives’s candid shot .
Don’t forget to watch till the end…The rings shot ! We managed to roll the rings into the glass and have them land perfectly, with the smaller ring within the big one !!

It was really the most relaxed, enjoyable and unique filming experience ever !

Wayne & Nichole never met when they were in same secondary school and their story begins only 10 years later at school reunion. Decided to be one of the committee for the event bring the changes for both of them to meet together and know each other. When the fate comes, the story begins…
We were very proud to have a ball at our feet to capture the nicest scene and warmest wedding memories of our lovely couple Wayne & Nichole. The couple told us that ocean blue theme was used because it linked them from the beginning, creating their love memories from times to times until the wedding day. And it continues growing….Beach is the one who made them. They started their story at the beach, not only that, the proposal venue was also at the beach. All the while beach side garden ROM is to be chosen as a form of their reminiscence and recollections of the days spent together. The love story continued and the wedding celebration dinner held at wonderful beach at Penang Lone Pine Hotel where was their proposal venue. Summing up, it is a beach-blued-knot Love which existed.
The sand ceremony was a special one as it included the wedding tree signature board, light-blue small pin wheel and other lovely DIY decorations that both of them spend time together to complete which lift up the wedding atmosphere of the sand ceremony as well as for their wedding reception. There were good food & awesome live music coupled with a fantastic & memorable night. All of the arrangements and the every single happy moment have been carved in every guest’s & both family’s heart forever.

The highlight featuring our main stars of the day, our beautiful bride Dr Khugaashenee & Dr Thanes.
The entire night was filled with love, joy and laughter as if its a well known circle for a long time. It was absolutely fantastic ! In this engagement, there were a lot of moments captured, from laughter to tears and a heartfelt love among all those who were present.We from Digimax Video Productions are very fortunate to have this lovely couple who volunteered to do the write up for their video-clip . And here we have Dr.Thanes Khugaashenee…..
….Well, where shall we start from…? As the Indians believe “marriage is decided in heaven”, that’s how our relationship began and now heading towards our Big Day.
Despite being in two different countries, we first came in contact via the internet in the year 2006, thanks to the spiritual path that we are following called Eckankar. It was a simple introduction between the both of us. Since then, there were barely any communication between us except for informal birthday wishes over the electronic media. Life took us in two separate journeys, allowing us to experience and mature in our own unique way. At a point, wedding appeared as a little far-fetched idea in both of us. Yet, through another Divine intervention, our separate journeys crossed each others’ in 2013.The magic started and this became the milestone of a marvelous love journey. A journey of untold beauty and bliss!!
The more we got to know each other, the more we realized that we have been well guided by the Superior force and it’s meant for us to be together in this lifetime. It’s not just an external union, but something far more profound. The unconditional union of two hearts as One. With Divine grace, our first major step towards our Big Day manifested today as our Engagement Day.
Thanks to all the loved ones who worked so hard to make this occasion a sweet and memorable one. Despite the challenges that arose, the amount of love poured into making it a successful event overcame all impossibilities on the day. And our extended thanks to our DIGIMAX’s team for their highly energetic involvement in capturing those priceless moments that would keep on refreshing our memory of this lovely day for the rest of our life. Not to forget of the excellent photographers, make-up artist and the management team. All of you did a wonderful job.
And once again, a sincere and heartfelt thanks from both of us to all the Souls that took the effort to leave a lifelong imprint in the ‘Books of our live’. You will always be remembered!!

Our lovely couple’s wedding was held in a large and beautiful temple at Maha Ganapathy Aalaya Paripalana Sangam Ipoh, Ipoh Perak, Malaysia. ( Behind Ipoh Railway Station)
The auspicious time for their wedding chosen by astrology at 4am early morning. Based on a simple yet wonderful classical Indian wedding on the holy time of god “brahma muhurtham” means the grace of early morning the most auspicious time of the day. Before dawn stroke in they were already declared husband & wife……
We sincerely appreciate and thank both your family members for their kindness and co-operation, especially during the wedding ceremony. Without any interruption, it gave us such a warm feeling of happiness capturing a wide range of emotions and reactions from everybody on your wonderful day.

The most significant things to us will be the beautiful jasmine flower decorative aisle…. is decorated with fresh and fragrance jasmine.
Jasmines are widely cultivated for the characteristic. . This flower has traditional, religious, social, spiritual and medicinal benefits. Jasmine Flower plays an important role in india Wedding. There is no south Indian wedding without fresh jasmine flowers. Fresh jasmine flowers are inevitable and one of the most important element in Indian weddings, right from the wedding decor to the manggala sutra jasmine flower is unavoidable.
Is such a perfect moments when the guests walk through this beautiful aisle to their wedding hall. You can smell from feet away the fragrance of jasmine flowers . It did make everyone you feel happier, joyful and relaxed….

This colourful traditional hindu wedding highlight featuring our main stars of the day – Kumaravel & Paraathi.
The wedding was held at Rudrakaliamman Temple at Depot Road, Singapore…. A temple with a history of 100 years! it’s a very peaceful temple and many people have had thier vows fulfilled here. Never fails to welcome anyone with its warm and spiritual ambience.
An Indian wedding is a time for families, friends, loved ones, and even the community to gather and take part in ceremonial activities and have fun with food, music and dancing to honour the couple’s union.
The wedding ceremony in Singapore almost the same with Malaysian Indian Culture.
Once the couple is seated together, the priest continues with the ceremony and, later, ties another piece of cord to a finger of the bride to unite her with the groom. He then blesses the sari and thali that was given by the groom. After this, the bride leaves the hall to change into her new sari. During her absence saffron rice are handed to the guests, and garlands are also passed around for the guests’ blessing. When the bride returns, the groom places the Thali around her neck. The musical band then hits a crescendo as the couple places the garlands on each other. This is followed by the guests throwing the saffron rice towards the couple as a sign of their blessing….
