This is a cinematic wedding highlight, the Hindu wedding ceremony and reception of Sudarmani and Kasthuri. The traditional Hindu wedding ceremony was performed at Sri Sivashakthi Alayam Hindu Temple, which is a fair distance from Sungai Petani, inside an oil palm estate. The temple chosen is well known to many, and people have found that they achieve what they aim to reach after praying there.
Another original aspect of the temple is that during wedding ceremonies, a peacock will grace the guests with its presence. It will stand on a wall, watching the entire ceremony, and will even produce a special call when the bridegroom and bride tie a symbolic string during the event. After the ceremony is over, the peacock then leaves the temple. It truly is something one of a kind and lends a special touch to the couple’s wedding day.
The wedding dinner was held at Dewan Hindu Sabha in Kulim. During the dinner, a lion dance was held to welcome all of the ceremony guests. This was a rare event, as the lion dance was originally introduced by the Chinese culture. It is hardly seen at an Indian wedding dinner, and added an extra multicultural flair of pageantry. The guests were all treated to this special show that was provided for their entertainment.
As a wedding cinematographer, we have the pleasure of documenting the wedding day of many special people. The ceremony of Sudarmani and Kasthuri was one we enjoyed, and will remember its special touches for years to come. Our teams were really happy and enjoy filming all the night !! We had the great pleasure to capture Dr.Suresh and Suthaˇs wedding receptions. We were so proud to be their wedding cinematographer really.
This is the 3rd couple in a roll from the same doctor family that DIGIMAX has been filming and the 4th couple will be coming soon. After we captured a few couples in their family, we all become good friends. We were naturally excited to capture their wedding celebration. It was like watching a close relative getting hitched. That is why we know each their family members so well, it made us so easy to recognize and managed to capture their family sweet and natural moments without any missing. The night ended with a lot of dancing and of course a lot of laughter too.

A heavenly matched pair ! Parvina is a gorgeous and pretty girl and Nesa is a smart gentleman. Being a female, I fully comprehend Parvina’s hidden secret : Parvina’s honey-filled smiling face is just like a strong magnet . Me too being “magnetized” by her and what about other opposite sex then. It is so crazy, Haha… no, no! it is because of her beauty and lovely smiling face and most importantly is her kind and tender heart.
The wedding ceremony was held at a large air-conditioned hall, Dewan Sri Maniamman, Penang, Malaysia. They then celebrated their elegant wedding reception at Sunway Convention Centre (SCC), Butterworth, Penang, Malaysia. To us, It was the 1st Indian wedding reception that we filmed in SCC. A special cocktail party was served for all their visiting guests.
The decoration was of grand standard and of course the food was fabulous, the serving was just non-stopping. Family members, relatives and closest friends, flew in from all over the place to attend their wedding in this comfortable ballroom to bless both of them.
The entire night was filled with love, joy and fun. It is absolutely fantastic ! It was a heart touching occasion with many laughter, excitement and wonderful speeches. The MC had brought a lot of fun to the newly-wed couple and the full house.
It was indeed a fun wedding to film, as we were filming alongside with the following co-work from Moooks photography, make-up artist by Sister Galleria , one of the make-up artist we love much and the decos were superb, and was done by Shashi Events.
