This is a fabulous “Chindian”wedding (Chinese+Indian) of Satkuru & Angeline.
Satkuru and Angeline are indeed such a lovely couple…. We have to say that Satkuru is kind hearted and really a smart guy. Angeline is charming, cheerful and a loving person. This is the wedding highlights of Satkuru & Angeline who tied the knot on 23 Nov 2012, in Natukottai Chettiar Temple Waterfall, Penang.
The ceremony took 3 days to complete…1st day Ceylonese ceremony at Indian Temple, 2nd day wedding dinner reception at Penang Chinese Town Hall, Penang and followed by 3rd day Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony with Bride’s family and gate crashing. (Point to add in :Joking and funny speech by Satkuru’s father Dr.Nadaesan Kurusamy and Touching speech by Satkuru….about they love adventure and story how he met his lovely wife…)
The culture has some differences with other indian wedding we filmed previously. Notably, the groom ties a gold chain on bride , Bride’s father passes a gold coin to groom’s dad to symbolize daughter is as precious as gold.
The highlight covers the reception night …There were a long queue and guests continued to line up to take photo at a very unique Wedding Photo Booth. It was awesome to see what guests would to stand out in their photos! Very energetic and entertaining crowd.
The night ended with a few songs and a stand up comedy by the groom’s siblings. It was a night filled with joy and laughter.
Last but not least, special thanks to our lovely couple Satkuru & Angeline for the honour of allowing our team to be a part of your day. Thank you for your trust in DIGIMAX Video Productions and your good heart.

First of all, we would like to thank Dr.Dipak who booked us from 10,000 miles away in United Kingdom for their unique event.
This is an Indian Combo wedding between “Gujrati” and “Malayalee” wedding styles. The wedding of Dr. Dipak and Raneesha was one of the most special and meaningful wedding days we have encountered. Dr.Dipak and Raneesha’s gorgeous wedding destination is Malaysia, their home. The celebration was joined by friends and family from all over the world including England, Russia, India, Singapore, Australia and Alaska.
“Jaimala” at the hotel entrance started sharp at 7:10pm (Gujrati tradition involving exchange of garlands). The bride and groom exchanged garlands in a playful manner together with their friends and relatives. The most interesting thing was a lot of natural emotions between the newlyweds. It was so joyful and fantastic…LOVE IT ! This was followed by a prayer ceremony by two priests involving an amazing integration of different cultures. Dipak’s father Dr.Ram Padman showed the thali to all guests for blessing and then handed it over to the priest. The next ceremony was the tying of the mangalsutra “thali”. This was followed by an exchange of garlands and the couple then went around the fire four times. They then sat down and performed the Seven Steps rites. We loved every moment, the culture and the colourful ceremony.
Our handsome groom Dr Dipak is really smart, cute and a “happy go lucky” guy. They are a very lovely couple. Both of them had a natural smiling face, were kind hearted and had a friendly personality …. always smiling! We are so happy for them and this is definitely a wonderful match ! We had tons of fun with Dr.Dipak and Raneesha! So many emotions throughout the day!
Dr. Dipak, your cooperation has helped to keep our operation running smoothly, especially your well-arranged and detailed itinerary. We sincerely appreciate and thank both your family members for their kindness and co-operation, especially during the wedding ceremony. Without any interruption, it gave us such a warm feeling of happiness capturing a wide range of emotions and reactions from everybody on your wonderful day.
This NDE wedding highlight will be premiered in their reception at Melaka on 14 Nov 2012 !! This wedding between Dr.Dipak and Raneesha is the beginning of sweet and wonderful moments to remember, a romantic journey that will unfold.
Last but not least, special thanks to Dr. Dipak and Raneesha for the honour of allowing our team to be a part of your day. Thank you for your trust in DIGIMAX Video Productions and your good heart.

This is a cinematic wedding highlight, the Hindu wedding ceremony and reception of Sudarmani and Kasthuri. The traditional Hindu wedding ceremony was performed at Sri Sivashakthi Alayam Hindu Temple, which is a fair distance from Sungai Petani, inside an oil palm estate. The temple chosen is well known to many, and people have found that they achieve what they aim to reach after praying there.
Another original aspect of the temple is that during wedding ceremonies, a peacock will grace the guests with its presence. It will stand on a wall, watching the entire ceremony, and will even produce a special call when the bridegroom and bride tie a symbolic string during the event. After the ceremony is over, the peacock then leaves the temple. It truly is something one of a kind and lends a special touch to the couple’s wedding day.
The wedding dinner was held at Dewan Hindu Sabha in Kulim. During the dinner, a lion dance was held to welcome all of the ceremony guests. This was a rare event, as the lion dance was originally introduced by the Chinese culture. It is hardly seen at an Indian wedding dinner, and added an extra multicultural flair of pageantry. The guests were all treated to this special show that was provided for their entertainment.
As a wedding cinematographer, we have the pleasure of documenting the wedding day of many special people. The ceremony of Sudarmani and Kasthuri was one we enjoyed, and will remember its special touches for years to come. Our teams were really happy and enjoy filming all the night !! Last but not least, Thank you to Sudarmani and Kasthuri for the honor of allowing our team to be a part of your day. Thank you for your trust in DIGIMAX Video Productions and your good heart.
