The best of both worlds, that’s what we would say about this wedding. Mainly because it was a fusion of Chettiar & Gounder wedding cultures. The engagement ceremony was called Poo Mudithal in which the Groom’s family would make a very nice flower decoration for the bride’s hair and would present to her. This symbolizes that they are giving flower as an acceptance of the Groom’s Family taking the bride into their family which was quite interesting for us to see for the first time. Why a flower? Flower is the symbol of happiness and shows her beautifulness so that’s why they present her with the flower. The wedding was in Gounder style, but being said that the groom dressed in traditional Chettiar style which was quite interesting for us to see and also there was a function called Kummi Adhithal which was after the wedding. This shows the various understanding and diversity even within the Indian Culture. It was simple mesmerizing and beautiful.
Do you believe when they say “Match made in heaven”? Or do you simply think it’s a fairy tale? Well, we believed in it when we heard this couples love story. It all started when they actually met when they were 11 years old, yes 11 years old when they went to tuition class to make up for their studies like all the kids. But it was not love at first sight, it was rather fight at first sight. They tend to fight and fight until both of them have to be put in separate class so that the teacher can teach the class. This went on for two years until the finish their primary schooling, during which they were fighting and treated each other as arch enemy.
All things changed when they went to secondary school, fight at first sight changed to love at first sight, anger changed to love and they fell in love with each other. It was as though they knew they had feeling for each other and they were the better half’s of each other. The problem with their love story is that, the boy is from a different caste with the girl. The girl’s family is very strict about this, so when they in Form 3, the girl’s father got to know about their love story and like all the parents, they changed the girl’s school to Ipoh and told the boy not to disturb or contact the girl anymore. On top of that, they changed all the contact numbers and everything information pertaining the girl.
Time went on after which the girl was changed school in which both of them had no ways of communicating or contacting. The girl’s parents thought that they had won the fight but they didn’t know that they will wait for each other no matter what happens. They made a promise that they will wait for each other no matter what happens and that they will finish their studies first and continue to love each other no matter what happens. And that’s what they did; both of them studied and became very successful. She finished her studies and became an Accountant and he became an Electrical & Electronics Engineer.
The time came when the girl’s family were looking for a suitable bridegroom for her, and that’s when she told them that they are still in love, the whole family was shocked. But, all their efforts were of no avail when they knew that they simply can’t be separated and at last they agreed for the wedding. And that was the happiest moment for the couple because for the 14 years they were in love, they had to go through a lot of trouble, distance relationship, and just a lot of struggle to get to the point where they are now. So now the saying “Match Made in Heaven” truly exists.

The Wedding Ceremony – A vibrant Hindu ceremony that took place at Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Bakar Bata, Alor Star, Kedah, which had many rituals and blessings and an explosion of colour, dancing and laughter. And followed by a fabulous garden wedding reception at groom’s home town, Bakar Bata, Alor Setar. Every single moment in their wedding cinema is bliss which is so full fun and energy. What we love most about this wedding is the wonderful smiles from everyone involved, it looked like every single person is having so much of fun, no one is left out and every guest is up on their feet really getting involved with the celebrations, a truly magical day that we managed to capture !
Here’s the love story behind the video . And here we have Mr. & Mrs Dr.Sanjeevan
“Our meet was….Well we would say it started off with some sort of sour moments….(the guy walking tall & the lady cutting in vain sort of situation….) Eventually (many preceeding events) ….tadaaaa…… things turned extra sweet when we saw our true selves…. And as we have believed only once in our life, we would find that special someone who can completely turn our world around….AND THAT MOMENT CAME TRUE…. Voila! It was like a dream… Colors seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life…. AND finally happily ever after begins…. By Gods grace, with the blessings of our beloved parents and families, witnessed and cherished by our ever supportive friends, and definitely every drop of sweat and hard work of the entire crew involved namely Digimax & team, photographer Logan & team, Shashie Events and the main man who lead the orchestra, our temple priest, Loga ,our auspicious ceremony took place in a smooth manner in the morning at our utmost favourite Bakar Bata Mariamman Temple. It was an exciting and unforgettable experience especially to see our loved ones around us on our BIG day….Many thanks to all those who had made it to our event (family members, friends from school, college/varsity, colleagues, our bosses, uncles/ aunties and etc) P/s One love folks, love yall͟….and for those who couldnt make it …. Peace Love Harmony…. No worries…. We got your wishes/blessings…The wedding was followed by a simple garden dinner more of a casual, free & easy type at our residence at Kampung Pisang…. It was like a party rather than a dinner….like the good ol Kampung style party….lolz as the name of our place suggest…. But that was the awesome-est, best-est and craziest moment of our life….. A big wow to all present that day…. They rocked it…. The ambience, need no words to say….(sorry for bragging but its true)…It was our kinda thing…. With the gorgeously lighted up garden surrounded by the beautiful ornamental trees and plants along with the sets of mesmerizing background music by Mr.Hamid Khan and team admixed with the laughter of our guests and dance moves by our sporting family members and friends….Voila! Again…. Wished that day never ended…. Thanks to Digimax for such a wonderful highlight, allowing us to re-experience this beautiful day with our loved ones for eternity…. and these sweet memories shall live on….Kudos! ”

LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind…
it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
IT ALWAYS PROTECTS, always trusts, always hopes, ALWAYS PERSEVERES.
