This hindu wedding ceremony of Nagarajah & hema was held at a large air-conditioned government hall, Dewan Bandaran, Teluk Intan, Perak.
Teluk Intan（安順）is a town located in the state of Perak in Malaysia. It is the largest town in Hilir Perak district and third largest town in the state of Perak. Teluk Intan’s famous landmark is the Leaning Tower, which used to be a water tank, just few minute distance to their wedding hall.
The leaning tower of Teluk Intan is the Malaysia equivalent of the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. It is located in the centre of the town of Teluk Intan, Perak. The tower is slanted leftward, similar to the Tower of Pisa.
They had a strong feelings that they were meant to be with each other, hence only shared a brief period of courtship. Within a year, they were married. The bride told us her better half is one of her greatest blessing from god. her perception toward arranged marriage change when she met him. They are 100% an arranged marriage. We realized love does not necessitate marriage but the marriage compels to love. Today they were proud to be as husband and wife with the blessing of their parents.

Todays spotlight ! Ipoh beauty, second twin sister Yamuna in her beautiful embroidery lehenga. Beautiful gold thread works were all over her lehenga with tricolor unique border. The bride stole everyone’s attention on this very significant day. Yamuna, You amazed your guests, the dress you were wearing made them lost words to describe.
When we met Yamuna at her twin sister’s wedding early last year, We were bewitched. She is a down to earth, easy going, stylish person. So it made sense how she found someone looking debonair like Raghu.
We were enraptured when she asked us to capture her wedding memories. When we asked Yamuna what outcome she expects from her wedding images, immediately she replied ‘perfection’. It was a spiritual wedding, completely immersed in love, laughter, and Ceylonese traditions. They wed with the presence of God and those closest to them.
How it all started:
Raghu is a Kamparian and Yamuna is a Ipoh Mali, but both have never crossed lines together despite their nearby locations. They were linked by a mutual friend a.k.a Lady Cupid. At that point of time, she was teaching in Sabah and he was working in Kuala Terengganu. After a period of getting to know each other from a distance, they went on their first date on 29th Nov 2013. Out of anxiety Yamuna came with an opening conversation was ‘So How?’. Her nervousness and innocence melted Raghu’s heart. After an awesome time spent together chatting on their first date, they realized that they were made for each other. Without much of a strategy, they gave the long distance dating a shot, which proved to be a crucial lesson in patience. After engaging in a relationship for a period, both parents met and a new alliance was formed. Finally, both of them tied the knot and their voyage together began.
Yamuna and Raghu’s wedding was conducted in a Ceylonese tradition. There are some significance in a Ceylonese wedding. Gold melting ceremony is done and witnessed by family members of the bridegroom. The meltdown is to fashion the wedding pendant (Thaali). The Thaali is the symbol of a Hindu marriage. The Ceylonese wedding necklace (Thaali Kodi) is made of 9 gold strands, the Gayathri mantra denotes a meaning for each strand. They are Superior, Ability, Purity, Divine Nature, To Know Life As It Is, Excellence Habits, Differentiate Between The Good And Bad, Humble, and Service. During the wedding, a veil is placed over a brides head to ward off ‘evil eyes’. The veil is only taken out after the bridegroom has tied the Thaali to the bride.

Here’s a little something about the couple.
The handsome and smart guy, our groom Navin and our pretty bride Subatra have been a couple since 2004. They Know each other for nearly 10years.. get introduced in Sri Murugan Centre (SMC), frens when subatra was in form 6 while Navin was in polytechnic, and finally when distance apart, Navin finally proposed when subatra left to study in National University of Malaysia (UKM), in Bangi.. It all started on 8th of September 2006.. 8 years anniversary of their love was significantly proved with their engagement on 5th September of 2014. Thus it continued a step further with wedding dated on 30th October 2014..
Navin can’t wait to tie thali on the wedding day..with mangla sutra touch, subatra looked extremely pretty and stunning.. Both of them were suited for each other and blessed in the beautiful Telugu Indian mixture wedding ceremony..
Whilst for the dinner, stunning in coat and dress, both of them looked so gorgeous.. marched into the hall with so much love, added beauty from crystal bride’s make up and accessories for both Navin and subatra..
This is the 2rd couple in a roll from the same family that DIGIMAX has been filming. After we captured her brother’s wedding in year 2012, we all become good friends. We were naturally excited to capture their wedding celebration. It was like watching a close relative getting hitched. That is why we know each their family members so well, it made us so easy to recognize and managed to capture their family sweet and natural moments without any missing. The night ended with a lot of dancing and of course a lot of laughter too.
